Hi All,
Well its now mid-May & what a mad few weeks it has been !!
Completed close to 400 miles in March including several 80
mile jaunts around sunny Suffolk.
Started April in much the same way but unfortunately an illness
in the family put a halt to my training for nearly 3 weeks. Completed
around 250 miles in April, less than I was hoping.
May has seen me back on the bike regularly once more soaking up the
sun & the countryside.
Met up with Craig (Rider No.1) on Sat 7th where he showed me some
"proper" hills around Staffs & Derbyshire. Completed 75 miles - mainly
vertical, in rain, wind & sun - what a day !!
Came home discover that the article featuring Heather & myself appeared
in our local paper & the response has been terrific.

So the route has been confirmed & the accommodation booked & its just a
matter of a couple of weeks before we start - BRING IT ON !!
